About SoCTA

SoCTA (Soft Computing: Theories and Applications) is one year young International conference. SoCTA-2016 was organized at Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur, India in technical association with MIR Labs, USA; IET and IETE. SoCTA-2017 is scheduled at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, India which is technically associated with MIR Labs, USA.

The objective of SoCTA is to provide a common platform to researchers, academicians, scientists and industrialists working in the area of soft computing to share and exchange their views and ideas on the theory and application of soft computing techniques in multi disciplinary areas.

The aim of the conference is to highlight the latest advances, problems and challenges and to present the latest research results in the field of soft computing with a link to scientific research and its practical implementation. SoCTA especially encourages the young researchers at the beginning of their career to participate in this conference and invite them to present their work on this platform.

Bundelkhand University

This seat of higher learning came into existence on August 26, 1975, vide Government of Uttar Pradesh Notification No. 10/15-60/74 under the provision of the U.P. Universities Act.

The University has set an example of self reliance and sustenance amongst the State Universities. The University has been able to mobilize the financial resources through academic fee, industry and institutional participation and other initiatives by administration for various development projects in the recent past.

Previous Conferences

An International Conference on Soft Computing: Theories and Applications (SoCTA2016) was organized from December 28-30, 2016 at Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur. The conference was technically sponsored by MIT Labs, USA, IET (The Institute of Engineering and Technology), and IETE (The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers), India. The proceedings of the conference were published in AISC Series of Springer. Selected papers based on reviewer’s comments are asked to submit their extended versions for possible publication in SCOPUS indexed journals. Prof. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, Director, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and Prof. Nirupam Chakraborti, IIT, Kharagpur, Prof. Ujjwal Maulik, Jadavpur University, Prof. R. R. Poznanski, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Prof. Jesus Eduardo Lugo, University of Montreal, Prof. Kumkum Garg, Manipal University, Jaipur, Prof. Subrata Ghosh, Harvard University, and Prof. Lalit Garg, University of Malta were the invited speakers in SoCTA2016.
